Our new Miniature Hidden Camera Lens Detector allows you to visually detect and locate any hidden wireless or hardwired, ON or OFF, powered or unpowered CMOS or CCD camera.
The VCLD-1 features six built-in ultra-bright LED lights around the viewing port. To detect and locate any hidden camera simply turn on the unit (the LED lights will blink from slow to fast depending upon the mode you select) and scan the room through the viewing port. If any hidden cameras are present, you will see a bright red dot which is a reflection of the VCLD-1's LED lights off the hidden camera's lens.

Video cameras radiate a signal that can be picked up by the VCD-43's external directional antenna. By using the sensitivity control along with the directional antenna and the camera-strength LEDs, you can quickly pinpoint the camera's location. Our tests with various video cameras have shown a detection range that varies from 1'-2', depending on the type of camera.
